In order to provide our candidates with such a personal and nuanced process, an outplacement process will involve personal data.

Dear Candidate: What personal information do we collect about you? The personal information we collect may include your name, email address, IP address, phone number, family details, termination data, employment history, salary, responses to 360-degree questions, test results, your responses to our work documents, such as our profile form – depending on what is necessary in the given situation.

Dear Customer: What personal information do we collect about you? The personal information we collect may include the contact person’s name, email address, IP address, phone number, and the company’s banking information – depending on what is necessary in the given situation.

Why do we collect personal information? The reason we collect your personal information is typically to:

• Conduct a professional and present outplacement process for our candidates
• Fulfill a contract with our corporate clients or our legal obligations
• Send newsletters, offers, and other relevant information about Makio as part of our legitimate interests

Protection and storage of personal information We only store your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your personal information was collected.

Therefore, the information is deleted when, for example, the customer or candidate relationship ends, taking into account the storage obligations imposed by other legislation, such as the Accounting Act.

Candidate data is stored for 6 months after the end of the process.

Disclosure Your personal information is, as a general rule, only disclosed with your consent.

However, we may disclose your personal information to public authorities or others to the extent required by applicable law or if we are required to disclose it by a competent court. If a company requests a status report on an outplacement process, we provide it with full focus on complying with the rules of the Personal Data Act.

We do not use or disclose your personal information for marketing purposes, including sending emails with advertising content, unless you have consented to it.

Processing by third parties Makio may choose to use data processors, including providers of software (including tests), website solutions, hosting, social and professional media, backup, security, and storage. These data processors will be instructed by us to process your personal information on our behalf, and we enter into a special agreement about this. Data processors only process your personal information for the specific purposes for which the information was collected.

We require these data processors to treat your personal information confidentially and to take the necessary technical and organizational security measures to prevent information from being accidentally or unlawfully destroyed, lost, or impaired, or from coming to the knowledge of unauthorized persons, misused, or otherwise processed in violation of the Personal Data Act.

Insight / correction / deletion / transfer You always have the option to request the transfer, insight into, correction of, and request the deletion of the registered personal information.
